Inspired by over a decade of customer feedback and

experience in the rugged tablet space, the Xplore RangerX

Android tablet features a lightweight and highly portable

form factor, without compromising the ultra-rugged,

reliable protection of the Xplore iX104 line. With MIL-STD-

810G and IP65 certications, the RangerX is engineered to

protect critical data under the most challenging conditions

such as 4’ operating drops to plywood over concrete,

heavy rain, blowing sand and dust, continuous vibration,

temperature extremes, and more.

The RangerX runs Android 4.0.4 and is powered by a

1.5GHz Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 processor that uses

a dual-core ARM Cortex-A9, 1GB of LPDDR2 SDRAM, and

32GB of eMMC NAND Flash. Storage can be increased with

up to 32GB in a user-accessible micro-SD card slot, and up

to 128GB micro SD in an internal slot.

The RangerX has integrated WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and optional 4G LTE mobile broadband to

keep workers connected. It has more onboard I/O than most light and compact tablets, including a USB 2.0 port, a

micro USB 2.0 port, audio, and micro HDMI-out. Optional I/O ports include HDMI-in and an RJ-45 LAN jack. Other

integrated features include front and rear cameras, an RFID/NFC reader, and an optional CAC reader.

The RangerX sets the standard for eld mobility: a full-shift battery life, lasting up to ten hours, maximizes time

in the eld and increases productivity. The RangerX’s vibrant 10.1” outdoor viewable, multi-touch display allows

awless transition from indoor to outdoor use. Options for carrying straps, handles, and mobile docking make

tablet transportation easy for handheld and vehicle applications.
